Which way is the best to get an accommodation in London for 3 months?

I'm living in Scotland now and will go to London to find a job after 2 months. I'd like to get an accomodation for 3 months to search a job but I think it will be difficult to find one as 3 months is not enough for minimum contract (I guess the minimum contract is at least 6 months). I really hope I can get dormitory if it is possible. Do you have any suggestion about it or could you tell me some useful web-sites? Thanks :)

There are lots of nice places in London.. it would depend on your budget and how far you are willing to travel.  A lot of Londoners live in zone 3-6 (see below) to cut down the cost of living but then you will have a longer journey into the centre.

I would suggest looking at places that do not have a tube station put you get a train into London as the places will be cheaper.
