Which way should Jaz walk home?

Lots of people walk out of the back of the school, including boys from the boys school down the road. She likes walking this way, except there may also be some people she doens't want to meet, for example a boy that she had some trouble with. Which way should she walk? The front or the back? I would walk out the back if it was me because its closer to my house but i cant because I have a detention :(

If I were Jaz, I would also walk the back way; however, I would find some friends to walk with me.  Thus, if she were to meet the boy that she had some trouble with, she could just continue talking with her friends and ignore him.  If he were to try to confront her, she should then ignore him and her friends would be there to tell others if there was a confrontation.
