Which way to write my name in katakana..?

that would most closely mean savannah fern in japanese...

サヴァナファーン

and do people in japan write their name mostly in katakana? or another way.. if so, show me how else i could write my name.

  1. There is no V in Japanese, only B.

    I would write it サバナファン

    And people in Japan have proper Japanese names, which mean they usually are made up of kanji and/or hiragana. Last names are always written with kanji. You can't use those alphabets, because your name is foreign. So for instance, Takahashi Shimizu's name is written 清水崇 (which actually reads Shimizu Takashi, as family names come first in Japan).

    The correct way for you would be either really.

    Choose whichever you like the most.

    Remember however, that you out your last name first:

    Fan Sabana, not Sabana fan!
