  1. Shiny on the outside. It keeps all the heat in that way. If it did'nt matter both sides would be either shiny, or dull. Next time you see someone rescued by emergency services, and given a foil blanket, make a note which side is on the outside. Hint hint!!!

  2. shiny side on the outside, 'cos that way it stops heat being lost or gained through radiation

  3. shiny side to where you want  the heat to collect

on the Turkey to keep the bird from browning too fast UP reflect some direct heat

A roast down,,to concentrate the slow cooking for tender meat ???

if you believe that it makes no difference,, then who cares..??

    It truly is insignificant..

  4. Dull side against the food although real 'experts' say it really makes no difference.

  5. Shiny side next to the food when cooking. The shiny side reflects the heat so keeps it in.

When your storing food and want to keep it cool put the shiny side on the outside to reflect the outside heat.

  6. Shiny side out- that's according to Anthony Worral Thompson on the bacofoil box ;-)

  7. it doesn't matter otherwise it would tell you on the foil

  8. I have always used the shiny on the outside. Not sure if it right tho!
