  5. Hello Richard.

Well I own a web hosting company called eVentureBiz: http://www.eventurebiz.com

I invite you to take a look at our site. We offer online entrepreneurs a lot of help in the way of learning and help with their websites. I personally install blogs for our customers and even have tweaked their code for them when asked.

As for search engines - that's about a 1,000 page book of information! LOL

To start, the first thing you should do is submit your website to a few popular search engines - I could do that for you if you host with us.

Then you need to educate yourself on SEO (search engine optimization). Again, our website helps people learn this through our forum and blog. I'll help you. Just remember, write your website for people first, then search engines.

Let me know if I can help. If you want to contact me directly, here's my contact form.

    Good luck,

    John

  6. First, you will need to choose a very good web hosting companies. Second, you will also need to submit your site to search engine to get index and ranking. There are so many hosting out there, but you need to research for the right one.

  7. Google, Yahoo and MSN currently rely on proper use of SEO metatags found in published webpage(s)  at their search engines/directory.  And hosting your website on these major search directories is a given.  However, you may need to do some research to discover if these same search engines have any written insider deals with various internet providers which would favor elevation of paid subscribers.  Such is the case with AOL.com and .Mac with Google; and SBCGlobal with Yahoo.  So you are encouraged to host your future website at the business side of AOL.com and SBCGlobal in order to gain an "advantage." And we must not forget the ultimate higher ranking/access of any URL having an http-basis on a major DNS Unix Server -- rather than a www. - designation for faster access which has resulted in recent conversions of many webpages to homepages by web owners.

    Good luck!

  8. Bluehost

  9. 1) godaddy.com

    2) Use a professional Search engine optimizer  if you have budget.

if you do not have that budget, you need to follow several things to get page rank of your website high in google/search engine.

Things like keyword density, number of quality  back links etc.

  10. There is literally thousands of web hosting options out there. I would strongly recommend that you take a look at several to find the best match. Keep in mind your expectations. What do you want the appearance to be? What kind of features do you expect to have? How will you drive targeted traffic to your site? And so on....Then when you compare hosts and options, first compare feature-by-feature then dollar-for-dollar. Using this process will ensure that you get the best fit for your needs and the most value for you money.

As far as assuring that your site appears near the top of the search engine, you will want to build a site full of valuable content. It is the structure and keywording in your site that will drive natural traffic from the search engines. The web host that I use teaches a powerful website building process called CTPM which helps to gain the highest rankings on the search engines. The CTPM process is in a specific order to ensure the best results. C stands for content. Content should be the primary focus. Valuable content makes up the firm foundation of any successful website. T stands for traffic. Traffic is the second focus. Focusing on how you build traffic with your content must come before monetization. If it is not the second focus the money most likely will not come. At the least it will not be at it's best. P stands for presell. By focusing on building valuable content and over-delivering with information about what the visitor is seeking. They will build trust and be pre-sold and ready to buy. M stands for monetization. Monetization is the last part of the process. It is also the easiest. If you have done well in building your content right and followed the CTP the M=monetization process comes naturally, converting warm, targeted visitors.

The web host that I use also analyzes each step of the process to help ensure the best results. If you would like to look at them as one of your hosting options you can see them at http://find.sitesell.com/UnstoppableDrea...

I would be happy to share tips from my own experience as well. I can even show you some examples of my own.

    BEST WISHES!

  11. Check My Webbie Hosting's Lite Plan. It costs $3.95/month only.

  12. 1and1 without a doubt. Have a look at my website http://www.shareworld.co.uk for introductory offer.

  13. Check webhostninja.com, it is a price comparison service for web hosting.

  14. I use angelfire.com

Its really easy, you can see mine as an example here:

    http://www.angelfire.com/planet/heather8...

Ensuring your site nears the top of a search engine is tricky. Those spots usually go to well know, well established cooperate-type sites. But there are some things you can do: when you submit your site to search engines, make sure you include A LOT of search words. Also, include a good description of your site. Don't just submit to google and yahoo. Cross submit in search engines like dogpile.com and ask.com as well.

Hope this helps & good luck!

  15. Richard,

    I personally prefer http://www.hostgumbo.com/webhostingpad.h...  ... they offer:

    - Free Domain for life!

    -  99% uptime

    -  1700 GB Disk Space

    -  17000 GB Bandwidth

    -  Unbeatable Pricing at only $3.96 per month with their new promotion!

    -  Free Ad Credits, $25 Google and $30 Yahoo!

People normally pay for ad space... with both Google and Yahoo you can get estimates for how much you would have to spend per click on each adword to land in a certain position.  Some adwords are cheaper than others.  I can send you a great article on optimizing your adwords if you need me to.  Just email me.  Feel free anytime if you have any questions or just want to talk about hosting and websites in general.  And remember, always  do your research before you buy.  Good luck!

  16. 1. I use 1&1. Very good.

    2. Almost impossible unless you search the website name. Either way it takes a few months before the Google crawler gets to you.

  17. If you plan on setting up simple websites or even blogs to get started, I highly recommend...

HostGator (low monthly cost and unlimited sites)

    http://secure.hostgator.com/cgi-bin/affi...

  18. i use yahoo - merchant starter since i have a business. and through them you can submit your site to other search engines as well.

search engines dont use keywords anymore, so you need to put content in your wording on your page that when people search will get picked up by the search engine.

  19. Fasthosts.co.uk

I've got 1 reseller and 1 dedicated server. I am working with them more than 8 years now and no problem at all...

    Best Regards
