I just recently lost my wedding ring and need to get a replacement. I have decided that I dont want another real one for fear of loosing it too. I have narrowed it down to these two but I just CANT decide...i'm just curiouse of your opinions of them.....

Also...i have only ever had a real diamond but dont think people would be able to tell its fake....what do you think?

Thanks!

  1. definitely the second one!!! =] =]

  2. I am not sure what your original ring looked like, but I think that you should choose the ring that looks the most like it.

  3. They are both ok looking, but I suggest if you are going for a nice created diamond to try Nexus Labs.  They have a really great guarantee, and you can return it within 30 days if you don't like it.

Their princess cut solitaire at 1.5 kt is only $420, and the three stone rings aren't much more.  If you ask me their rings are much more realistic looking than the ziadiamond ones.  My hubby considered them when he was shopping for my ring (his guidelines were simple...anything but a diamond), but he decided (much to my delight) to get a london blue topaz instead.  Good Luck searching and welcome to the delightfully prudent non-diamond club.

  4. If I had to chose, I'd picked #1. I know what real and fake look like only because I had to take courses on gems when I worked in jewelry and study them. To me, it's not hard to tell but others might not notice. The second one LOOKS fake but the first one you could probably get away with it.

  5. the one that will make you happy without breaking the bank or making you feel like you need an insurance policy for your ring finger.

  6. Neither are my taste.  I think they are both extremely gaudy.

Are either of these like the ring you lost?  Any sentimental value in going for the same style as the lost ring, or are you just looking for an upgrade anyway?

Who cares if people think they are fake?  If you are going with fake because you wouldn't otherwise be able to afford a ring of this size, I think people will trigger on THAT right away.  I don't think that's the first thing that will come to mind.  I think the questions will be more like:

    1) that's not the ring I saw her with last time I saw her- did she re-marry?

    2) if she didn't re-marry, why the new ring?

    3) what made her pick THAT?

  7. I like the second one! The first one seems odd with just the one big "diamond" in the middle. I don't think people will be able to tell.

  8. Personally, I like the first one. To me, I think the first one looks real. The second one looks too gaudy.

    Try dimonique...Spelling??? from QVC!

  9. I like the second one more....but why not get a fun ring with like emerald or sapphire or w/e the purple one is (I think the purple looks really good).....get your birthstone!

  10. In my opinion the only shape cubic zironium that looks real is a round one, the rest just don't quite cut it. What I don't get is that you are willing to spend 1000-1500 on a fake ring, why not spen that much on a real ring, if you are not bummed about losing your $1500 fake ring then you wouldn't be bummed about losing a $1500 real ring

  11. both are very pretty and elegant -- good choicess(:

... personally i think the second one and you should definatly have it in silver

and your right you cant tell its fake

  12. I don't really like the first one.

The second one is beautiful though.

And I doubt anyone would be able to tell.

Thats a smart idea to get a fake one.

  13. The first one - it's elegant and classy

The second one is just too much especially if you have a small finger.

  14. O.K.- I am very sorry to here that you have lost your original wedding rings-that must be heart breaking.

Now- I am a small person with little finger and little hands. I wear a 2 caret round Tiffany style engagement ring along with a 56 pave stone-3 row wedding band totalling another 2 carets and I have these insured for almost $32,000.00.-Where are they when I go on vacation---in the vault- I wear my fake rings and no one can tell the difference.

I really like the first one, I would like a round stone but I am not buying it you are.  I love the matching pave wedding band. I think a 1.5-2caret stone is good but is that altogether or is it just the stone?

I have been looking at the site-thanks so much-I really enjoy  it, and I really do not think the prices are that bad for what you are getting.

If you do not tell any one they are fake only some-one who really knows how to tell the difference will know.

Good luck to you, I choose ring #1

  15. I actually really like the first one. I'd really like it more if it were round cut, but if you like princess (which is actually what I have!) then there you go! :)

And I think I'm going to go on there and get myself a fake set because I refuse to take my precious stones on vacation! Thanks for the site! :)

  16. I like #2 the most, the 1st one looks too plain and not as stylish as the 2nd one

  17. Get a real diamond and carry insurance on it.  Fake is fake.

  18. i say the first one, it looks very real the second one i could tell it was fake but they are both pretty good luck in which ever you choose =]

  19. I'd go for the first one if the main diamond was smaller and set lower as it would look real, otherwise the second one.

  20. They are just 'too much'. For those prices you can get lovely real diamond sets -

  21. Both are gorgeous!

I'm in love with both of them.

I think I would go with the first one.

I want the three stone on our 10 year anniversary.

  22. i think they are both VERY ugly.

And both you can tell they look very fake.

But if i had to; i would pick the 2nd one.

The price is bad for those fake rings.

    way to much.

    Just go to Walmart.

    they are prettier and cheaper

  23. I would choose the 2nd, but it seems quite a high price for fake

  24. I like the 2nd one but why not get another real diamond and get it insured

  25. $1,195 for a fake diamond? Geez. My wedding ring has real diamonds in it and it was only $900 (but I got it for $200 because I have an associates discount and gift cards for the jeweler my MIL worked at).

2nd one is better...I just can't get over the $2,000 for something thats not even a real diamond.

  26. Second one! And people probably won't be able to tell unless they really look at it.

  27. I like the second one. The first one looks too high up and shiny. If you hadn't told me it was fake I would have no idea. :)

  28. I'm sorry you lost the first wedding ring! I think both are nice looking, but my thing is this, if you're ok with spending $1500+ on a 'fake' diamond, then I think buy a real one. Doesn't have to be anything big or flashy, but $1500 on cubic zirconia is nuts! jmho

  29. I like them both.  My own engagement ring is a 2.15 carat diamond. (real, not fake) that I designed myself.  It's set in platinum with narrow yellow gold bands around the band and the prongs are yellow gold.  My jeweler made me a wedding band to match.  I seldom get any compliments on my rings, but I know they look AWESOME.  I finally figured it was because the diamond is so large, people think it's fake so they don't say anything to me.  I got lots of compliments from my ring from my former marriage.

My advice to you is to make sure the center stone is not too big.

  30. Go smaller to be believable,  say .75 carat

nice rings, check out the shopping channel for diamonelle

The star elite, diamonds have a hard ratio of 10

diamonelle star elite is at 8 so it is durable

  31. The 2nd one looks like it has the three "C's" down.  It has better cut, carat and clarity.  My recomendation is the 2nd one.
