Which wedge, 54 or 56 degree?

In my bag, I have a 46 degree pitching wedge, a 50 degree approach wedge, and a 60 degree lob wedge (vokey). What would I benefit most from, a 54 or 56 degree to fill the 10 degree gap?

Take a look at your irons. Are they set at a loft of 4 degree loft difference between each club? If so, then I'd suggest that you drop the 60, and get a 54 and 58. In this case, you'll get a even 4 degree loft difference between each iron and you will know the exact difference in meter between each club for full swing since each club are set at 4 degree loft difference.

Do you want more roll or less? If you want more, the 54, less the 56. Very simple. If you want the ball to check, you need the higher loft.

56 keep 4 degrees between them.

it depends on your game. i know everyone will say that but you should just demo it. i prefer the 56 to a 54 but thats only because i don't have anything with more loft in my bag yet so i needed the 56.

if you are pretty good with your 60 degree maybe go with the 54 because you can use some touch to fill in that gap. and vice versa if your better with your 50 degree you may wanna get the 56.

It depends on the courses that you are used to playing.  If they are courses that have very fast greens you would be better off with adding a 56 degree, but otherwise, it would be kind of foolish to have that many wedges in your bag.  On a course with slower greens you could get away without the 60 degree and putting the 54 degree in your bag.  On most courses, however, you should only have two wedges other than your pitching wedge, freeing up the longer clubs.  Those yardage gaps typically are a greater worry.

56- 54 is too close to a 50 distance wise, and too far from a 60. I carry 46, 51, 56, 60- which is 110, 90, 70, 40. If I had a 54 it would be 110, 90, 80, 40
