Although they weigh the same, the fat "seems" to weigh more if you got an excess of it.

muscle is heavier than fat. If you had 2 tubs the same size and filled one with muscle and one with fat, the muscle would be heavier.

That's why you can have 2 people who weigh the same but one wear different size clothing
