well at wimbledon venus is better.. better grass court player... but overall.. more consistency, more game variety, and better tactics.. serena..

i would give the serve to venus though.. slightly better... more speed..

Venus is better and she is a smart player unlike Serena who just thinks that powering the ball is gonna win her matches. I mean it has but I still believe that Venus is the better player.

1st Serve: Venus

2nd Serve: Serena

Forehand: Serena

Backhand: Venus

Speed: Venus

Competitive Drive: Serena

While both create their fair share of errors, Serena has the edge as far as the better player is concerned. More so for her ability to be more consistent with her all around game. Venus no matter what surface struggles heavily with her forehand for years,a nd could have won more if not for that huge problem. They both however still possess alot of talent and even with the rise of many women players these days, are still top contenders.

I would have to say Serena. She has that incredible mental toughness to her game that helps her win through so many tough matches, regardless of the score or rank of the opponent. Her win at last years Australian Open was perhaps one of the most incredible accomplishments in all of sports. I doubt many people truly understand just how big of a deal that win was for Serena. Its something that I am sure people will be talking about for years to come and wondering just how the heck she won those seven matches to take the title.

She also has a better all-around game than Venus. When Venus' serve breaks down, her forehand tends to go flying all over the court, and her entire game falls apart. When the serve breaks down for Serena, it’s her mental fortitude that pulls her through those tough matches, something Venus seems unable to do on a consistent basis.

Serena is the better player overall, but on grass I think Venus is better, and she moves better than Serena, which is surprising considering how much taller she is than Serena.  But Serena has better technique on all her shots and has a more reliable serve, although Venus holds the record for hardest hit serve.   It's very close between them, but Serena is slightly better in my opinion, even though I like Venus more.

I rly dont think that titles matter that much but venus has such a better mind set than serena. Serena and Venus have similar physical qualities but i Venus has the mind to go with it whereas serena has a tougher time.
