  1. XP.  XP is more stable in my opinion, and more applications (specially older ones) work better on XP.

Also just don't like the look, feel, and usability of Vista.

  2. XP because it is more stable, reliable, and has the drivers you need for most of the hardware you use. Vista is very unreliable, you need at least 512mb of ram (minamal) to use basic. and you will need to find drivers for your hardware if vista doesn't detect it. Microsoft says computers between 2005- and beyond can run vista perfectly. but, if it's not, don't bother getting it.

  3. Windows XP! more compatible with old games, software and hardware.

At the moment vista still has a lot of bugs. Also keep in mind the specs required to run vista. I still use vista when I am in the mood but rather use xp. my system is a triple booter, xp pro, vista premium and Ubuntu

  4. Vista!!!!

Because of its highest local security policy and visual look!

  5. i think is windows xp, it support more software than vista

  6. XP is faster, more stable, more compatable, uses less system resources (memory, cpu, hard drive space) than vista.

Vista's only "selling point" over XP is it's "eye candy" interface, but even that really REALLY is second-rate if you compare it to Compiz - Fusion available under LInux.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_NmTJcTE...

Vista is an abortion looking for a place to die... Microsoft is forcing business to purchase vista licenses along with XP licenses when they buy comptuer and want XP, just to inflate the "sales numbers" of vista so it doesn't look like it is as pathetic as it really is.

  7. XP is better for now, and the next few years, until Vista becomes more stable, and more widely supported by hardware/software companies.

  8. with my new laptop, i got Window's Vista original pre-loaded. even though i opt for highest configuration avaialble, high graphics in Vista made it slow. most of software's dont work properly in Vista. So i booted it to pirated Windows XP.  Satisfied now.

However, Security features are much better in Vista..

but its still XP who rules....
