I am looking to compete and I talked to a dealership and they wanna put 2 mmats juggernauts(quad 1 ohm) in my envoy with a custom box and a 3500.1 on the woofers. They will do all the electric work and wiring so it will do work. He guarantees me high 140s low 150s. all of this is being done for a really good price(below $2600). I think juggernauts r the same as the digital designs 9500 and can take as much power as u can give them. I know btls r beasts but for some reason i dont wanna get em(wanna get all my stuff from a dealership). Pretty much im trying to decide between these companies:

Treo Engineering

Digital Designs

Memphis

Mmats

What r the pros and cons of each of these companies?

Which company should i buy from?

What should I buy from them and how many woofers should i buy to get to at least 150db?

Is there a better company out there that will get it done better and still have a reasonable price?

SORRY FOR SO MANY QUESTIONS BUT NOBODY WANT TO LOOSE THIS MUCH $--THANKS!!

  1. Digital Designs is what I personally run , so I am a bit basis on that , but I have also owned a pair of the jugs , and done very well with those as well.

I think your on the right track to your goal of being in the high 40's or low 50's , but the install is going to have to be done right.

also look into Sundown audio's new Nightshades

    and T3 audio.

    I hit 150.7db @ the headrest with 2 DD3500 15"

with an XD3000 and 4 Kinetik hc1800's, but that was @ 50hz , to hit that kind of number @ a lower

freq I would recommend the 9500's or equivelent like the jugs

  2. http://www.electronixwarehouse.com/educa...

  3. Not too sure about Digital Designs, I have not personnaly heard their subs, but have heard of them.

    Memphis, get the MOJO series

    Mmats, deffinately the Jugs.

The MOJO's and the Jugs are used in comps, the companies are well aware of this and they even sponsor some of the comps. I would get at the most 3 of them, either one to tell you the truth. Pros- all 3 companies have good warranties, cons- hope you have money to replace windows.
