Which word would you use here?

Which word would you use to substitute "bride" in the following song? I want to dedicate it to my boyfriend but I cannot use "bride" (´cause it´s a "he") and "groom" doesn´t sound well. Thanks!!

All I want is you, will you be my bride?

Take me by the hand and stand by my side

All I want is you, will you stay with me?

Hold me in your arms and sway me like the sea.

Ok... What about changing it a little bit.

All I want is you, my very special man

You took my by my heart, now take me by my hand

All I want is you, will you stay with me?

Hold me in your arms and sway me like the sea

Or something like that. I refer to my guy as 'my man' so that substitution makes sense to me. If you call him something else like 'your baby' or your boo' maybe try thinking of other words that would be appropriate.
