  1. Maybe working in a fitness studio? No idea, really.   Maybe farmer because you are outdoors a lot and the fresh air is so healthy!!   Will be interesting to see what others suggest.

With my job I am standing all the time. But I do get to taste fresh fruit all the time, so it does have some healthy aspects.

For your backache, try joining a yoga or pilates training to strengthen the back muscles, and concentrate on your posture at work.

*Edit*  Hey. thumba, way to go !!

  2. Being a cashier is bad for your blood pressure if you get a lot of rude people, working with food could be bad for your weight and working with alcohol could be bad for your health, bur working with money is worse  -  one mistake and you must pay in the difference, weather it is R1.00 or R300   -  maybe being on pension is the best option

  3. I used to take "neurophen" (brufen) tablets but now Im allergic to them so I use "panamor AT-50" painkillers.

These are good for muscle pains - like too much digging in the garden or bending over my sewing or too much ironing!! I wouldnt take these every day though.

  4. I have a very dangerous job, work with criminals all day, breathing in TB germs..........I also stand a lot, and that makes my back sore. I think my core muscles are not strong enough, must do more Pilates. Buy some decent shoes, that will also help.

  5. I was previously doing on-site work - where I would be outdoors for most of the day doing mainly physical labour - I lost about 10 unwanted kg's - I felt good and I never had any issues sleeping at night as I was physically exhausted - IT WAS GOOD!!!

I am now stuck in an office job - where I make more bucks but I have put on about 15kg's, I often suffer from insomnia and double vision (from staring at a computer screen all day) - I drink way too much coffee and with coffee comes cigarettes - generally I am not feeling like the healthiest person on the planet

I think I am allergic to my JOB - definitely time for a change!!!

  6. I cycle about 180 km a week to and from work.

After dinner I usually go for stroll.I have 1.5 kg of  ankle weights that I strap on the whole day. Two weeks ago I bought 1 kg wrist weights that I strap on while walking or cycling. In this way I get my exercise naturally.
