Question:

Which workout is TOUGHER?

doing a set of barbell squats with 6 very heavy reps

or doing intense barbell sqauts at your own bodyweight for many many reps for conditioning (if u weigh 150 then u use 150lb barbell) untill u can do any more reps

what i'm asking is which u think is harder to do

  1. Definitely the second one.  I've done over 80 reps with 135 and 50 reps with 185.  Unless you have built your endurance by running it's very tough.  You start hugging and puffing like a steam engine, lol.  But you get a heck of a workout and your legs will start growing fast.  You only need one set.
