Which wormer would you say is better?

Continuex or Strongid 2x

continuex compared to strongid has more ingredients and more crude fiber, but strongid fights things that i have never heard of or seen in the other de-wormers that i have looked at.

Use both, we alternate what wormers we use so that we cover all types of worms. It works great.

Both have the same active ingredient.  The other ingredients aren't important. Go with whichever gives you the better deal. While continuous wormers are better than purge wormers, you still have to dose with ivermectin twice a year to treat for bots.

I personally like Zimectrin Gold. Not only does it cover more varieties of parasites but has proven in over 20 years to build no resistance.

We use Ivermec works better than any paste we have used and it doesnt hurt them at all but works better if you give them the right amount for their weight

I like Zimectrin Gold however i rotate dewormers every time i use them to keep the worms from building up an immunity to the dewormers or something! THats just what my vet told me to do!

Zimectrin is a good one.  Remember, when it comes to wormer, feed, fly spray and farriers, you get what you pay for!  There is no shortcuts......

We use the Strongid 2x- daily wormer. Ask your vet about Strongids Preventacare program - if you follow their worming regime (daily pelleted wormer, plus Equimax 2x yearly, and spring/fall shots) they will pay $5000 towards any colic surgery your horse has, for any reason.

Strongid!

I think it even kills the tape worms.Other meds only kill the roundworms, and if your dog picks up tapeworms,you need to buy a second medication just to kill the tapeworms.

Strongid. We sell it at our office (vet) b/c you can enroll your horse in the strongid program. if they colic the help you with the vet bill. See your local vet and check it out. It really is a good deal!
