  1. First off, do you only plan to run the subs on the zx850.4?

If so, consider this. If you only use 2 channels, power keeps running thru all four channels. Therefore, you only get half of the watts rating of the amp because power is still going to the other unused channels.

The best amp to use for strictly subs is a one channel/mono amp, regardless of when using one or more subs. To say the least, it just produces pure low frequency.

To comment on the 15's, I'd say the Fosgates. One factor in my opinion, I have not heard the Newest P3 15's... But I have heard the CVR's. They are less clean in sound, especially when compared to the P3's. The CVR's are alright for comparing them in this class, but Fosgate over them on this one.

Take note that the Fosgate's front woofer is easy to crack. You must be careful about storing stuff in their playing area. May be smart to invest in grill covers, or just simply be careful. They are definately nice tho.

    Good luck on your decision!

  2. Any sub will "bump" good if you put it in the right box and power it with the right amp.

Both Kicker and Rockford are good brands....i would say either one.

Are you using that amp just for the bass? or are you also running some speakers from it? I would get a mono amp just to power the subs.

    ported or sealed box?

I've had good experiences with both Kicker and Rockford.

  3. the kicker sucks *** my buddy has it on an old school kicker amp that pushes like 2400 watts and it suxxxxxx big time go with rf

  4. rockford has a high bass sound and kicker has a lower base sound and i have both rockford and kicker and i like my rockford a little bit better than my kicker.
