  1. i would say you can never go wrong with a honda accord

  2. I worked at an auto shop for quite a while...and I think the Maxima or Accord would be your best bet as far as not seeing your mechanic too often.

Check into the maintenance schedules...some of the Nissans have timing chains rather than belts which can save you alot of money in maintenance.  I think the Nissans are a bit more comfortable for long trips also - what year are you looking at?

Either way...keep up on the scheduled mainenance...these cars will last forever if you doo...have seen many of both models with a quarter of a million miles on them if they were taken care of.  Fluid changes are key to prolonging the life of your engine and gear boxes!

  3. Maxima. Nice style good power and just reliable. i would definately reccomend one.

  4. It depends what you want. If you want an alternative to a luxury car, the Avalon. The Maxima has just been redesigned, and is going back to the "four door sports car" image. The Accord just became a full size sedan, so it's not too big, not too little; not too expensive, not too cheap. If you are just looking for a car to get you around, I would recommend a smaller car, but the Avalon has reliability, and the Accord is smaller, and easier to drive, and better on gas.

  5. I am a fan of Toyota, I have a Corolla so I say Avalon

  6. new accords are hawt. all i have to say.

  7. I would have to say accord. with almost 35 mpg you cant go wrong with it.

  8. Hondas are always a good bet. mine lasted for 16 yrs. my cousin had a Maxima and she had good luck with it also

  9. Service departments depend a lot on the dealer. Big volume dealers or ones that service and sell many manufacturers, in my experience, have the worst service.  Single make, small  dealers have the best customer service.

Either one would be fine. The Accord is a good car, but it's not as big as the Avalon. Plus, the Accord either comes with a 4 cylinder engine or a V6.  The four has great mileage (I get 33 mpg at 75 mph steady, even on the hilly PA turnpike) but only adequate power.  The V6 is a better bet but doesn't get as good mpg.

The Avalon is a bigger car, comes with a V6 only and is relatively soft, much softer in ride and responses, then the Accord. Very nice car, think Japanese Buick.

The Maxima is more sporting then either Accord or Avalon, but you'll find the Nissan is not as well engineered as Accord or Avalon

  10. If your a guy.. get a truck or SUV i cant stand seeing guys drive CARS..

  11. Definitely a Honda Accord manz. Driving the JDM EuroR. Enjoying every minute of it.

  12. Not the Avalon, i would rather get a new lexus than get that toyota. Uhm Maxima isnt good with gas and the accord is the best all around, and one of the most reliable..

Check out the website and it will tell you which cars are the best for the money

I think Buick and Ford were really high than Toyota and Honda came close

  13. Honda Accord.

Besides, it does hold the title for most reliable car in the world.

My mom's car had a leaking problem with the transmission and they fixed it for free.
