  1. While France has amazing B&B and I do think this is one of the best / cheapest way to lodge while travelling across the country I wouldn't say the same about Paris. The offer is not as plentiful and the service is not as nice.

I would recommend one of the french chains - and there are many . From Ibis (2stars) to Novotel (3 / 4 stars) and Mercure you can usually find good bargains, specially if booking in advance. You can try the Accor website - the company to which all of these hotels belong to and from there get access to each individual sites (they also have an online reservation system that will give you the offers for all hotels of their network).  Another possibility are the La Campanille hotels but they tend to be located outside the city center - after the Peripherique (the main ring road)

    Enjoy your stay!

  2. http://www.etaphotel.com

They have several hotels in Paris and charge fairly reasonable.

  3. When I visit big city like Paris I prefer hotel room instead B&B. In my point of view, The urban B&B owners are "not so friendly" like the B&B owners in the country side, and the urban b&b rooms in lot of cases are bad quality rooms...

Therefor, take good advise and try to find reasonable hotel room in reasonable price instead urban B&B.

    Try the link below.

  4. We stayed at a great little Hotel near the Arc de Triomphe.  I used a great website and I actually called and the CS rep was very friendly and spoke English nicely.

  5. b&b and do more shopping or tours

  6. If by B&B you mean a small hotel/inn of just a few rooms where a big hearty American or British style breakfast is served then the fact is that there really aren't any such places in Paris. You can easily find websites that use the phrase B&B advertising rooms in Paris but what they tend to be offering  are rooms in someone's apartment. It is just not the same thing as will be found in either the USA or the UK.

There are a goodly number of well located, reasonably priced hotels in Paris. The Hotel Tiquetonne, for example, in the central are called Chatelet, is only 50 euros a night for a double with en suite shower and WC. Check http://www.eurocheapo.com/paris/ for other such hotels.

My personal favorite is the Hotel St. Andre des Artes (http://www.123france.com/en/0/hotel-sain... where a double costs 86 euros a night, breakfast included.

You might also consider a short term apartment rental. This website http://www.paristudios.com/ is a good example of what is available.
