a car that gets 16 miles to the gallon (city) but uses premium gas

or a car that gets 14 miles but uses regular gas?

  1. AT PRICES OF GAS IN MY AREA ( $ 3.679 AND $ 3.879 ) THE 14 MPG CAR COST PER MILE IS 26.3 CENT PER MILE -------THE  16 MPG CAR COST PER MILE IS 24.2 CENT PER MILE--------THE 16 MPG CAR IS CHEAPER BY 8.4 % AS GAS GOES UP AND DOWN THE % WILL CHANGE .


  2. Change you car for something that does better mileage.

  3. Ok common sense.  You will spend more money on the premium and less on the regular.  On average you will spend anywhere from 10 to 20 cents more than the regular.  The extra cost is up to you.
