  1. The L7's are going to be louder hands down. With that part out of the way you really need to start thinking logically. Now I put 2 12's L7's in a 2004 Suburban and the window in the back started jumping off the hinges and with all windows closed, you could see the windows sucking in and pushing out with every bass note. And that was in a truck that has no sealed area and about 5 times as much free flowing air as your corolla. Do you really think that you need that much bass in your car. Several things I recommend if you are really gonna do this. 1: upgrade your BIG 3. 2: Get a HO Alternator. 3: Replace your battery with a Kinetic Battery that is made for Bass Competions. 4: Replace your back window with a sheet of plexiglass or any other type of high density glass material. 5: Have your doctor's number on speed dial b/c you will prolly go dead within mins of fully powering your system.

I recommend if you want really loud in your car to go with 2 12's L5 at the max. These subs are gonna quake the c**p out of your car and be advised that your warranty on your car has just been removed. I garanttee that if you do this then you will want to down grade real soon. This is just my opin if this is your daily driver or even weekend driver. You DO NOT want this much power running in a Corolla. I advise that you take my advise. If you think that I'm crazy or don't know what I'm talking about then go into a Circuit City and listen to the L5's. The install guys there will tell you that you do not want this running in that car. Good Luck DUECES!!!!

  2. The L7's, hands down.

The enclosure has a lot to do with the results.  You're kind of cheating the comparison by putting the CVR's in a sealed enclosure and asking which would be louder.  Also, it's not recommended to run 1200W RMS to the CVR's.  They're rated to take 500W RMS each.

  3. 2 15' CVR would be 1000rms and 2 12' L7's would be 1500 rms, both being that the L7 has more suface area, then it would be louder considering the 500 rms more and it being in a ported.
