Which would be the best self amplified speakers like the logitech z5500 which dont need an amplifier?

Can you suggest me the best quality option available. Price is not a concern. I am looking to setup a homecinema system and my main concern is a High Quality Plasma/LCD screen and i shall be attaching a Denon DVD player plus the best wires to connect each of them but i dont want to go the tradition way to head start a home cinema

By definition, computer speakers are self powered (i.e. don't need a separate amplifier). The link is to a review of  reviews of computer speakers and concludes for 5.1 surround sound the Logitech Z5500 are the best.

That said, you should also consider a "Home Theatre in a Box" system. They include speakers and amp (and sometimes a DVD player -- though I wouldn't recommend that -- as a integrated setup. See the 2nd link for ratings of various models.
