Which would be the better break fast for weight loss?

Smoothie and an boiled egg or cereal (cherrieos and skim milk) and a banana. the smootie has half a cup of nonfat yogurt, half cup of pinapple and half a banana with a fourth cup of OJ. '

BTW im vegetarian, so i need protien.

  3. The smoothie with a hard boiled egg is better. You're right, you do need protein, regardless of whether you are a vegetarian or not. The protein will help fill you up, and retain your lean muscle. Studies have shown that people who eat for breakfast lose 60% more weight than those who eat a carb meal containing the same calories.

    The cereal will leave you feeling hungry in about 2 hours, and you're more likely to eat more at your next meal.

  4. Definitely smoothie with a boiled egg. You could also add whey protein powder to your smoothie to get extra protein if you are vegetarian.

    I don't recommend eating lots of sugar if you are trying to lose weight, banana's contain a lot of sugar and cereals are not as healthy as you think - they often have high levels of sugar and high fructose corn syrup which is not good.
