Definately Adelaide, the cost of living, particularly accommodation, is quite a bit lower.

Adelaide is Australia's most affordable and cheapest major capital city to live in. The housing prices are around half of Sydney's and two-thirds of Melbourne's.

However, it is rather isolated and the weather is very hot and dry there since it's situated on some of Australia's most arid parts. The temperatures can easily reach over 40 in summer.
