Question:

Which would make a better tattoo?

I want to get a tattoo this weekend but I have a few ideas and not sure which one to pick. I would like to have Deuteronomy 6:5 on my inner wrist, Amor Vincit Omnia and little hearts on the back of my ankle, or an 18th century key on my foot. Which one sounds the best?

*FYI* Amor Vincit Omnia translates into love conquers all in Latin.

Thanks for your help!

  1. honest advice....if you don't know what you want, you shouldn't be getting one this weekend

....you should wait months after deciding to help make sure you're making the right decision

also, you are the only one that should be making this decision

    not strangers on the internet

    you

and if you can't figure it out on your own, you probably shouldn't be getting a tattoo

personally, hearts are insanely overdone......so I would go with option A

    but it's your body

assuming you're 18+ you should be able to make this decision on your own

    good luck

  2. i like the deuteronomy one...lets you have a good reminder everyday but i also know a girl with the love conquers all in latin and it is super cute(its on the side of her foot)....so i would get the deuteronomy one but runner up would be the latin one...but with out the hearts

  3. ooh... i like all of them... :)

i think amor vincit omnia... but then again if i knew what deutreronomy 6:5 was, then that would be great 2. XD

  4. The first one will not fit on the inside of your wrist.  The second is cliche.  I personally think that the key is the most unique.

  5. I think the 18th century key sounds better.

It's more original and it would look awesome.

I have a little idea though.

It would be great if you got the key but put it inside a lock that's heart shaped.

So it sends the same message as the love conquers all, but it's a little bit more creative.

  6. The key. :D That's so creative, I would love to see that. :o

  7. definately the key on the ankle.

    it sounds so beautiful! x

  8. Well, you're basically going to just get a lot of personal preferences, so here goes. I am not very religious, so I don't like the Deuteronomy one. I like Amor Vincit Omnia - because it gives you a little more to play with than just the bible phrase (you'll have more room up the back of your ankle/calf - and you can incorporate it into a really nice longer tattoo that curls up your leg in the future, or now even). Good luck!
