Which would win in a race? A horse or a camel. Camels have slightly longer legs so I don't know....I'm actually pretty sure a horse would win but I want to see what you think

  1. Horses, Camels may have long legs but they are larger animals and would need a much larger energy requirement to run. But that's only if its normal horse racing distances any longer and possibly the camel.

  2. i know there are camel races like in arabia etc but i think a horse would win at middle distance but it also depends on the horse and the camel...some horses only do good at short distances or long ones

  3. Yes, that's what horses were born and love to do, especially a thoroughbred horse.

Note:  A horse, based on a regular race track, if your considering a very long distant race the camel would out last a horse.  Not sure what you were basing your question on. Hope this helps.

    Edit:

OK..since you added additonal information.  I still have to go with the horse, wild or trained should beat a camal under normal circumstances.  However, there's nothing normal about a horse and camel race...LOL!  Thanks for the fun question.  You made me think.

  4. I'm not completely positive on this, but I think a horse. Camels have had the need for speed bred out of them because no one goes around racing camels. However, horses have been bred to go faster and faster, so it would make sense, right?

  5. HORSE

  6. HORSE

  7. A horse!

Highly doubt that a camel could keep up with their speed! It would be like a cheetah racing a zebra!
