Which would you choose, xbox or ps3?

What is better about the ps3, and what is better about the xbox. i know the ps3 has lots of better titles tho, help!!!

360 is older by over a year, its not going to last past 2011,

PS3 has a guaranteed lifespan of over 10 years.

PS3 games are going to get better graphics wise and 360 wont be able to handle them.

The 360s online is way better, and Microsoft will be constantly updating the console over the next few years. There is really no comparison between the graphics, for they are the same. I found that the xboxs controller fits more comfortably in your hands, and the games play very well on it. You cant beat the games they have in the arcade, and there are so many games coming out within the next year that will be so awesome. So if it was up to me, Id take the 360.

well first , to the guy who says the Blueray isn't better then the HD DVD they no longer make the HD DVD movies

personally I got the Ps3 for 3 reasons

1- I am used to the control setup from the ps2 and like the games

2- Microsoft stuff sucks balls , witness the problems with Vista and how long it took to get XP sorted out, as soon as they do they change it to make more money ,and read all about the 3 rings of death with the 360

3- bill gates is rich enough, he can't get any more from me

First of all, the PS3 does not "own" the 360, while sony is wasting their money on making new console Microsoft will be updating the 360, CONSTANTLY in 09, leading to happier gamers. Moreover the PS3's graphics ARE NOT any better than the 360, both have the same quality. STill don't agree with that statement? The PS3 has a BLU-RAY Hard-drive, no that's not better, The 360 has an HD hard-drive, BOTH ARE THE SAME JUST DIFFERENT Co. NAMES!!!! NO the Halo series is not the best game out there so don't go around telling people that the 360 is more popular because of Halo, Halo is NOT the greatest game ever crated and no it does not suck either! The Halo series may have its ups and downs but the main reason why it's a best seller is because of its story line. Yes Halo is worthy enough to be played on the 360 [I HATE its when people say it should only be for the PS3] and yes they should have made it for the PS3 too even though they're BASICALLY THE SAME!!!!!!!!!!! If u ask me its way BETTER to buy the 360 as a game console rather than the PS3 because sooner or later sony is going to come out with a new console and you'll be like "a f[censored] i just bought my PS3 a few months ago now i gotta buy a new game console"..."MOOOM!" Neither systems "own" each other however if ur a cheap a[censored] like me it would be wise to by the 360.

i know 4 people who have had to replace their 360s at least 5 times each since they have had the console.my younger brother just replaced his 360 last week for the 6th time.

noone i know with the ps3 has had any issues with it other than the amount of money they paid for it.

ps3 has more titles that appeal to my entire family.so i would choose the ps3.

I would choose the ps3 all the way. TH ps3 has cool games that xbox360 does not hyave. Such as god of war 3, little big planet, kill zone 2, kill zone 1, resistance 2, and the new HOME(this is free and you can chat with your friends, for more go to youtube and type in "ps3 home". The ps3 controllers have six-axis which is cool in army of two for controlling parachute. The ps3 has a builit in blue-ray. So its like a free dvd player!!!! The ps3 store has downloadable games and can buy,download, or rent movies and games.

The xbox360 the controllers have to be recharged on batteries which meanes u have to spent a ton of $$$ on batteries. The xbox360 controllers are heavier which means you dont feel as confortable player your games.

lol and people really have absolutely no idea what they are talking about if they actually think the 360 has better graphics than the PS3.
