Which would you prefer and why?

Traveling into the deep depths of the ocean or going into deep space?

Space because I couldn't resist and getting to see the stars with a new perspective would be so cool.

Definitely going deep into space because I want to search for extraterrestrial intelligence or life form for that matter.

deep space fer sure.... why?... light... ocean depths can only be explored with a 'flashlight'.... we're limited in the lights we can use and how far that light would shine down deep.... we'd miss more than we'd see.... ..... out there, tho, there's light to show off stuff everywhere!!!.... more to see and wonder at!!!

Space - all those stars with no atmosphere to get in the way must be a glorious sight.

I would choose the depths of the oceans. So much beauty there for our eyes to see. See the great mysteries of our own planet.

I'd do both if I could for similar reasons, but if I absolutely had to choose one or the other, deep space definitely.

In the deep depths of the ocean the environment and the creatures that exist are so unique that the feeling I get would be "other-worldly." At the same time, I could not pass up the chance to explore deep space and visit other planets in a far off solar systems in a different part of the galaxy or even other glaxies. There's so much more out there in terms of environments, life, and even the scenery. A nice sunset or sunrise here on earth is great, but a a nice sunset in a binary star system with different type of stars would be better; or a large spiral galaxy rising over the horizon like in those fantasy pictures at Digital Blasphemy. Yeah, definitely deep space.
