  1. Neither, I believe we can have lower taxes by cutting out all the ridiculous programs and so called "studies" the government spends out tax money on, for instance, and this was a true government study, "Is there such a thing as a male L*****n". Thousands of our tax dollars are completely wasted. I don't want government health care, the quality would go way down and you would have to wait forever to be treated. I know we could have lower gas prices, we need to find a way to responsibly tap some of our natural resources. It would be great if our health care system could somehow be revised so the average american can afford it.

  2. Look at the death rates for American kids, before you answer.

Despite spending more on healthcare PER PERSON than any other country in the world, the USA has the industrialised worlds highest death rates for kids aged under five.

If you have a system like one of the many in Western Europe, you would have to pay increased taxes, but those people who have to pay insurance would actually save money as the increase in taxes would be less than the money you would no longer have to pay for medical cover.

As for me, I prefer the system I benefit from.  Higher taxes and universal (note, not free) healthcare.

  3. I'll take the second choice.  My health care is relatively reasonable anyway.
