Which would you rather watch NHL or AHL

I like the CHL myself. I saw Crosby play with Rimouski for ten bucks-that's a pretty good deal. To some guys winning the Memorial Cup is even more special than the Stanley Cup.

attending games : ahl, u cant go to that many games when the tickets are that expensive on nhl and yes u do get to see the top prospects that are coming to nhl

however, there are many other leagues where those players come from

u always have to keep ur eyes open for that

watching games : nhl, u get to see the best of the best players. its always fun to watch great players like ovechkin, malkin, heatley, iginla and datsyuk  moreover, u get to see what those prospects turned out to be like.

there's not many ahl games televised where i live, at least not with the cable package i have anyway.  but regardless, definitely the nhl.  more action, more competition, more experience, better match-ups, more excitement.  but that's just my opinion.

If you want to see talent before the NHL go to OHL, WHL or QMJHL games (of course if u live close enought).  The hockey is the best I've ever witnessed, because all the players are playing for their futures. They don't have million dollar contracts, and so they can't afford to not play top end hockey night in and night out.

nhl i've never really seen the ahl, its not even around me.  Most of their areanas dont even come close as full as the nhl ones

i watch more nhl because i don't get many ahl games on tv.  but i only attend ahl games.  can't beat the price or the action.  and i follow the manitoba moose.

NHL all the way, I watch AHL sometimes.

The NHL lets you see players at there best, to me the only point to watch the AHL is if there is nothing on, or if you want to actually know something when the draft comes, and even then the OHL and other leagues produce NHL players as well.
