Triple H was better in 2002. He hadn't tore his quad for the 2nd time, and he was younger and more agile, so he was better back then.

The Rock was better in 2000. It was the peak of his career IMO.

Shelton was much better in 2004. He had more air time, was one of the main stars in the WWE and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he was the Intercontinental Champion then too.

Undertaker was better in 2002. He was injured in 1999, but in 2002 he had some great feuds with Hogan, Flair, Lesnar, The Rock, Angle etc.

Chris Jericho was better in 2001. Won the Undisputed title, was more over with the crowd, wrestled against better opponent (not that HBK is a bad opponent) and main evented PPV's. That's what we're going to see of Jericho soon too I hope.
