Which yu-gi-oh deck theme?

my question is should i continue working on this one or should i build a gadget deck instead? which theme is more competitive, ancient gear deck or gadget deck?

gadget oppression is a good deck but i have found that it is very difficult to get royal oppressions for it

gadget I think is more competitive. But to tell you the truth, neither is that good.  

Also, your deck is too random, cards like negate attack needs to be replaced by mirror force. And take out swords and MST and side them.

I would definitely go with the Gadgets. They are currently among one of the top deck types right now, and are easy to build on a budget. Also, it would probably be wise to get rid of some of the more random cards in there.
