Whicth sproket size is more efficent for my gokart/funkart?

thanks for veiwing the question ok my son has a six year old gokart/funkart it is 5 hp im tuning it up right now u know new brakes and oil and sproket my son like to go very very fast he has already upped the engine speed the kart is one wheel drive and has a clutch also the engine is on the left not in the miiddle

so i currently have a 80 tooth sproket the one which cam with the gokart me and my son can easily drive it and it has no trouble pullin us up hills altogethr 250 lbs so now im bying either a 72 tooth sproket or a 60 tooth one whitch one sould give a lot of speed while stell mataining justttt wnogh torqe to let me and me son ride sometimes he rises every week i ride evey year wha im sayin is im thinkin to get 60 tooth but im afraid it will have the torqe of a moped so please give me ur suggestion =)

I would go with the 72 but would probably stay with the 80.. The bigger the sprocket is the more it will pull.. 5 hp isnt alot.. i would recommend getting a 10 or more hp motor
