our neighbours daughter of 4 years old will come to our room to play. when my husband plays with our baby she will hug my husband, if he sleeps on the sofa she will climb on him, sleep on his chest and talk to him. I feel jealous when my husband will not tell her to move. when I asked my husband why does she stick to you all the time he responded by saying all children loves me. Why do I feel jealous? May be because I remember the days after marriage he used to make me sit on his lap and kiss me and hug me. what do you say about this? because this happens most of the night she comes in

  1. I totally agree with the other answer, and if you are feeling jealous what else is going on?? Actually don't answer that!

You need to tell the neighbours to keep their child at home.

  2. It sounds like the girl is looking for some father figure love. Has she not got a father or is he not very loving. it sounds like a father daughter relationship. Maybe talk t her mum  and try and find out why this would be. But be careful. I~ this has been going on for a while then take it slow on stopping her coming over if that's what you want. You cant really feel jealous of a 4 year old. The way she cuddles and sits on your husbands lap is nothing like what you do.

I think she sees you as the perfect parents.

  3. Why is the neighbors daughter sleeping at your house? And why does your husband sleep on the couch.....And sleep with her? This is a very oddball question, and does not seem right.  Why the h*ll would a parent let their 4 year old daughter just wonder off to the neighbors to sleep? Im sorry but thats not normal....

  4. Firstly, perhaps the little girl is looking for love and attention and doesn't have a Father figure in her life?

Secondly, rather than being jealous about this why don't you speak to the little girls parents and tell them to keep their child home and/or lock your door and don't let the kid in.
