While i was away my dog bonded with someone else that i work with. How do i win back his love?

he comes to work with me so he sees the person all the time. and wants to be with them. what can i do.

Here are some things to try:

1. Hand-feeding

Hand-feed him some kibble one by one. Hand-feeding is also good for bonding and establishing your leadership.

Try and do some obedience training sessions everyday. Enroll in a class or get a good positive reinforcement obedience book, and practice with him for short sessions (10-15 minutes) every day. This will help establish you as a leader, improve your bond with your dog, exercise your dog's mind, and give you good tools that you can use to help control him in the house.

3. Play lots of fun games with him

My dogs love the flirt pole and chasing water from the water hose. I also sometimes play soccer with them.

4. Interesting walks

Take him for nice walks in the neighborhood as well as nearby parks.

I read the book "Whale Done!" I got it from the library. It talks about how to teach whales, which applies also to dogs. I've used the technique on my dog and she is much more responsive to me and really wants to please me now. My dog loves learning new tricks and hearing "Yes!" and knowing I'm pleased. If you can leave the baby home every other day.Lower the exposure to the other person.When you get home love,play,treat and walk for at least 1/2-1 hour.When you settle put the baby right by you and pet,brush and love some more.Right now he isnt sure if your going to leave again.Just love.Lowers your blood pressure also.My baby sleeps with me?Try that if your willing.If not put the babys bed right by you at night.I hope all turns out well
