  1. everywhere even in a small village where you can see a STD telephone booth...

  2. You can get this easily, as we have many private cellphone service providers, Hutch, Airtel, Idea. BSNL is a semi govt institution ad hence you may find it difficult to obtain.

But wherever you go for the SIM u will need Identification's and also photographs.

  3. A good option though a little expensive as compared to others is Airtel. They have coverage in almost all the states and its pretty good [I am assuming that since you are from out of India you'd be travelling across].

They are pretty easy to get as well as recharge while on roam. You just need to carry some ID proof, pay as per your chosen plan in prepaid and the card should be activated within 24 hours.

If you have some time on the web, I'd advise that you check the available plans on their website before you go there and take your time to decide what are you looking for.

    The url is www.airtel.in

    Cheers!

  4. They have Orange Centres there .  They also have agents everywhere but be careful to whom you go.  Its better to go to their centres...in Bombay there is one on the SV Road in Khar Bandra area.

  5. My girlfriend went backpacking in India, and got hold of one easily.

  6. Well Iam not sure why u r asking this type of Silly Questions and wasting others and ur time, U r not a kid to ask this type of question here, I can't believe this and Iam sure soon you will ask where In INDIA u can buy fresh vegetables, Either Ur New to INDIA r Ur Kidding or ells Ur a KID.

Well I think most of the people answered thinking they are helping you but no not at all, u r tring to react wise by asking Silly Questions Like this.

Your Question should make others to think and give answer not simply Asking a question for a sake .
