While playing Tiger woods 07 when in back swing mode it will often putt before I am ready?

This will sometimes happen on drives or iron shots but not ofter. I have tried both controllers and it still happens so it is either the game or the WII itself

This happens to me also. I think its just a flaw in the game. Make sure you take the remote back slowly and dont swing to fast. Thats what i do and it works much better now.
