While playing a nasau I was 2 down total and1 down for the side. A storm forced us to quite. What's the rule?

  3. The storm may have saved your hide but our group pays only for finished nines. If you were 1 down at the turn you lost that side and owed the bet for that side only. Th back nine was not far enough  along to determine either the back nine or the 18 so those two bets were cancelled.

  4. Unless you have a pre-match rule established, why would any money change hands. The match was incomplete. Someone is trying to bone you and make you feel guilty.

Depends on how greedy your opponent is.  It sounds like you lost the front side so I would say you owe him that bet.  But the outcome of the second nine, and the eighteen was still up in the air so I wouldn't pay those.  On the other hand he can say you lost the front, and were down for the back and the 18 so you lost all three?  There is no hard and fast rule.  If the weather is iffy it is a good idea to decide on the first tee how you will handle a round that you can't complete.
