While selling some products on eBay, how does the Reserve Price mechanism work?

  2. It depends on what you set. Normally what you will see is the starting bid and under that is a note that (Reserve Not Met) -- that means the auction has a reserve price.

  3. The bidding can start at 99 cents if you want. The reserve price is the lowest price you will accept for the item. Some experts say that this typically will scare off some bidders but if you do not want to take a loss or the item is of value to you then don't worry about it.
