If an ad reads 'Offer valid until 20th July while stocks last', does it mean its definately ending on the 20th or it can continue past the 20th depending on the availability of stock

  1. it means the offer lasts until 20th july...but if the number of items run out coz alot of people are buying them..then the offer doesnt stand anymore becoz there's nothing left to sell..XxXxX


  2. To be honest, it's effectively marketing BS, they'll definitely have enough of it in stock until the expiry date.

    Actually, the general trend goes that after one offer expires, they just rehash it into a new one with a new date and the same old pitter patter.

  3. It is valid until July 20th unless they are out of stock before that date, in that case they won't honor it at a future date.

  4. we had a shop around my way.that had a closing down sale for 7 years.until tradeing standards nick the owner.
