While taking diamox pill?

I just want know while taking diamox and does its cause sense of smell to increase????

Diamox is the trade name of the drug called Actazolamide.

According to the British National Formulary of 2008 this drug can cause altered sensations of taste and smell.

That fits in to the side effect you have.
