While the music industry is a mess..?

What good MUSIC have you heard lately? Thanks to iTunes and Disney, the industry is pretty well ****** at the moment. What new artists have you seen that are worth listening to?

At the moment..I'm really into Lady Gaga and Santogold.

Well..I have lots to share but not the most recent,some are pretty long back..

I knew Lady Gaga through her MU performance and she was good! I'm into her music too. Also there's this Estonian singer called Kerli i love her song Walking on air its good. Sam Sparro is great,if you have only listened to Duffy's Mercy you should listen to Warwick Avenue and Rockferry...she's amazing than Mercy alone

There's this danish band called Mew,they're one of the best indie bands I've come across. They're big in Europe,but unknown here in the states. They're releasing a new album in 2008,but their previous albums Frengers and the Glass Handed Kites are nothing short of amazing..you shouold check them out they're great in the dreamy shoegazing genre. Also Lacuna Coil,many compare them to Evanescence but I think they're both good. Their lead singer has a great powerful voice.

I've heard Tegan and Sara,they're really good too,and Brandy is back! Her new single is FANTASTIC. Its called Right Here and you ought to give it a listen too its worth it!

I feel sorry for Anastasia,she's a fantastic female singer and she's huge in europe yet not very popular in the states although she's american. She has some great songs such as Paid My Dues,Pieces of A Dream,Left Outside Alone and Sick and Tired(best song from her!!)

I rarely listen to the radios and TVs these days. Just like you said, music nowadays SUCK. That's why I started to avoid the radios and TVs lately. Btw I mostly listen to classical music lately.

To <33ComfeeKiss<33 (2): I never said that Celine Dion is a terrible singer. I do think she has a great voice but she sings mostly torch songs and sorry to say this, but to me her songs are soooo..... cheesy, despite how great her voice is. "My Heart Will Go On" is one of those songs that you like very much when you first hear it but then after a while it just gets on your nerves and you feel like you want to throw your TV and radios away through the window everytime you listen to it.

Been listening to my own Mp3s and converted CD tracks (from Cds, etc)...

Different stuff than Disney-80's, 90's, R&B, Soul, New Age, Techno...

In fact the only Disney tracks I have are those from Movies, remakes of popular Disney movie songs and Lizzie McGuire...

These days, I listen to a lot of experimental hip-hop and genres that combine rap/hip-hop with another genre. I'm big into Sage Francis, the Black Keys, and Lupe Fiasco as of now. Lupe is easily the most underrated rapper out there, his mix-tapes are insane, his flow is impeccable and unlike any others, and always paints beautiful stories and ideas about the world.
