While watching the footy on a Friday night, do you ?

get a pizza, this is just to lighten this section up a bit, even if you don't what's your fave Pizza, make mine a Margy, (margharita) the first pizza invented, named after queen Marharita of Italy, it is probably boring to most of you but it is just, mozza cheese, tomato sauce, with basil, (white,red and green) funny that, the Italian Flag colours.

Ilike to spice mine up a bit with Garlic, chili flakes and tomato sauce cooked on top too, beeeeeeuatiful.

Seeing as it's a footy section, if you had to have a pizza watching the footy, what would you have?

I have never actually tried the margaharita, maybe I should! I am a fan of the Hawaiian but lately have committed the sin of getting into those bbq double bacon cheeseburgers or bbq chicken from Dominoes!

But you can never go past a traditional Italian Pizza; we are having pizza from La Cantina for tea tonight!

Nothing beats munching on a great pizza and guzzling a beer in front of the footy!

Margharitas are not for me either Rom, in fact I don't go much on Pizza at all. I usually make individual cottage pies(in ramekin dishes) for the family so we can sit & watch footy in comfort. We watch RL though , not AFL.

I only answered that to say I'm a bit pussed off in missing what "Trent" had to say.

Why pay for a pizza - I get the missus to cook something for me......isn't it one of the main reasons we married them?

I can't believe this...You are asking a nice happy question then you get someone like Trent to wreck the mood.

Anyway....My hubby,kids and siblings go to my mums every Friday night,it's a tradition.

She usually cooks,but whenever she doesn't we get pizza.

My favorite is the BBQ Chicken pizza with BBQ sauce.

i always have pizza and chips and eat a lot of junk food when the Pies play, its sort of become a tradition with me and my three older sisters. i think itd be wierd not to have all that stuff. anyway i always have pepperoni. i wonder why im not fat yet.....

We have home cooked every night, but love our snacks while watching footy(both league & AFL.) Chips, cheese & biscuits are the usual, plus something to wash it down of course.

Something with meat in it! Seriously margharita is just a waste of a good pizza! At least you make an effort to spice it up a bit though!
