  1. no, your spouse can get housing on base... but they arent going to help move your family because of foreclosure that comes out of their own pocket if some other part of your family wants to move by you

  2. no your finance problems are yours..they wont get involved in them unless its horribly bad and the creditor starts calling you at work or if its an onbase place.....but other family members they wont help them move to you where you are stationed....they will move your immediate family if you are pcsing..thats it

  3. For your spouse and children they will help find a place either on base or through the housing office.  If you are talking about parents you could get some ideas from the housing office but they will not directly help or give any financial assistance to them.  So spouse and children is a yes but other family is no they don;t.

  4. you can claim a family member as a dependent, you need to provide the service with that family members tax return and they need to see that they cannot support themselves (i.e not more than $5,000.00/YR is salary).  you will also have to set an allotment showing 1/2 your pay is being contributing to that family member.  once you do all this go to your local admin, fill out some papers, and wait about 4 -6 months for approval.

if you get approved that family member is entitled to anything just like an immediate dependent.

  5. well, u could have ur family move in w u. but no. only if u were to marry a service member or someone in ur family was one. but the govt cant help everyone, ya know?
