Whilst I am not a smoker myself I don't like non smokers. Do you?

If find that there self righteous ways and I am better than you attitude along with there boring conversation and there total lack of good manners, really nauseating. From now on they can live in there own boring world and I will take my friends elsewhere. Are you coming with me?

My husband feels the same way you do.

He doesn't smoke, but married me anyway. He doesn't care if I smoke in the house, car or bedroom. He hates all these anti-smoking laws. For years we went without them, and no harm was done. Now all of a sudden it's a problem. He doesn't care if he's the only non smoker in a room. He's like me. He grew up around it, and no harm was done.

I say there are too many hypochondriacs out there, who whine over the littlest things. The govt. caves into them. They need to mind their own business. If these people don't like it, STAY HOME!!!!

You are being self righteous and prejudice.

Smoking is a unhealthy habit but as a smoker I am offended by your comments.  I am not self righteous and have impeccable manners.  Just because you smoke doesn't make you a particular sort of person.  All sorts of people smoke from movie stars to truck drivers.

Perhaps you shouldn't judge people if you don't want to be judged yourself.  If you don't want to be around those who smoke then don't be it is your choice - I have a feeling they won't be to disadvantaged at the loss of your company.

Idk where you are from but I have never been a smoker and I don't think im boring at all.I don't talk about it, it bothers me a bit but usually people who are smokers are very nice and try to keep the smoke away from me.No one is better than anyone else in this world no matter what they do or don't do.You sound like you have a big chip on your shoulder.

It isn`t so much the non-smokers who are self righteous, it`s the ex-smokers who kick up all the fuss and they are the ones who usually replace their previous smoking habit with excessive  alcohol intake.

Non smokers are a pain in the butt. Smokers out side in all weathers in the winter months to have a smoke in there designated area. You don't see a non smoker out there, when the suns comes out they take over the smoking area.  What a joke they are. You can see i don't like this type

Well, I don't smoke yet I don't go around thinking I'm better than others. Do you think your question is a little discriminating? How can you lump people who don't smoke or smoke together like smoking classifies a personality or type of person? Smoking or non smoking is a person's choice. Smoking is a habit or a person's choice. How can you link what someone does as how they are? I've known plenty of smokers who are straight *******!  But do I go around saying all smokers are *******?  You lost me with this question.  Do you see how this comes off? I mean, whether a person smokes or doesn't smoke, how the heck does that classify their personality or what kind of person they are? That's like someone saying, I don't like people who drink Starbucks coffee because they are stuck-up and rude. That wouldn't make sense to say would it?

I've never seen a non-smoker have a lack of good manners. What I mainly see are smokers who think that everyone else should sit there and put up with the smoke from their cigarettes. Excuse me but like a person has a choice to smoke, I have a choice not to get lung cancer from their second hand smoke because of their decisions. But, even then I would never say a person acts a certain way because they smoke.  Goodness. To me anyone can be a jerk or creep. Smoking or not has nothing to do with it.

You mean you don't like anti-smokers, not non-smokers. You yourself are a non-smoker, that would mean not liking yourself. I think I'll not join you and stay in my boring world where I have the right to breathe clean air.

i dont like the 'waffers' or fake coughers that exagerate when you are smoking within a 100m radius of them

i do believe in not forcing your smoke on other people though and just having a bit of respect, which any normal person would do

Why on earth are non-smokers going to have less interesting conversations than smokers? Likewise why would they have a lack of good manners.

I don't smoke and I don't like being around smokers because they smell so terrible but apart from that, they're just the same as anyone else - no more or less interesting or ill-mannered.

I'm certainly not self-righteous about smokers - I'm glad I managed to kick the habit, as my lungs feel better.  Most smokers don't want to smoke and I feel for them, as I know it can be difficult.

Oh great, another boo-hoo-smokers-don't-get-enough-respect advocate.  Non-smokers are not the ones who endanger other people's health, pollute the air, and give off disgusting aromas that you can smell a mile away.  Smokers are the ones with a "lack of good manners" as you put it.  If non-smokers are self-righteous, it's because we're RIGHT.
