Whilst Interrailing I plan to go to Budapest to a Croatian beach. Then from here to Verona. How can I do this?

Going Interrailing in July with two other friends. Heard that a mixture of trains and busses is needed to travel around Croatia. Wondered what is the easiest route, and the nicest beach to visit. Thanks
