Whilst walking alone, acouple of male drivers have beeped at me to get my attention then waved. Why?

I do not know these men so why would they do it?

If you're a girl, BEWARE, unless of course you're interested in a relationship with boys.......

They think your someone else or a tring to hit on you

are you walking on the side of a highway

are you walking facing traffic coming toward you or are

you walking in the highway going the same (traffic coming up from behind you?)

if you are doing that (walking with traffic coming up from behind you its not safe and they are waring you

if you are hiking on roadway you are suppose to walk toward

traffic (so you can see the cars coming at you)
