Whipidewhip – the one to look out for in the Grade A2 470 metres flat race at Belle Vue
Six hounds have been reeled in for the Grade A2 470 metres flat race, who will look to outrun each other for the £76 prize money.
Competing tonight are Starmount Sylvi, Boozed Celeb, Mitzy Magic, Whipidewhip, Damerstown Brave, and Jack Of Diamonds. The race will be held at Belle Vue on Wednesday, 4th July.
Whipidewhip, Yeah Man’s five-year-old black son has shown remarkable consistency, form and progress in his last four starts.
He claimed his seasonal debut on 7th January, 2012 at Belle Vue over 470 metres by making the trip to the other end of the wire in 28.40 seconds. He landed the race with a margin of 3 ¼ lengths.
The next eleven races failed to entitle, Whipidewhip, as the winner.
His second success of the season surfaced on 31st March, 2012, in the Grade A3 Vincent & Mary’s 40th Wedding Anniversary Stakes at Belle Vue over 470 metres.
Born in 2007 out of b***h, Minnies Cupid, Whipidewhip led from the third position on the track, raced from middle and then concluded it in 28.36 seconds when towards the rail.
He defeated the runner up, Swift Laugh, by 1 ¾ length as he took 28.50 seconds to make it to the other end of the wire.
16th May saw the K. A. Harris trained winning a Grade A3 470 metres flat race at Belle Vue. He broke in the middle from the third gate, and ran straight on without deviating to the rail or going wide. It took the five-year-old 28.16 seconds to make it through the wire.
The favourite won by the slight margin of a short head’s difference, and knocked Rocks Pride into the runner up’s position after racing for 28.16 seconds. Taking up the third slot was, Cape Bart.
From the 6th June to 28th June, Whipidewhip improved from the fourth position to winning the race that came in most recently.
The black hound settled as the runner up in a Grade A2 470 metres flat race on 20th June after racing for 28.27 seconds. He lost the race by 3 ¼ length.
The five-year-old then dominated a Grade A2 470 metres flat race at Belle Vue by reaching the other end of the wire in 28.27 seconds.
