Whirlpool ADP951 Dishwasher

Question

Our Whirlpool ADP951 has a problem. Here is what happens.

1. Start wash in usual way.
2. It goes through the rinse cycle, and successfully pumps out water.
3. Green Light on Right Front starts flashing and soon after the rinse pump
stops. It keeps flashing.
4. If you hold down the button at the right for about 10 seconds, the
machine restarts BUT it jumps straight to the END cycle (missing the wash cycles)

5. Machine stops short time later.

That is the machine never goes into the wash cycles.
