I have an upright frost free fridge/freezer. The fan keeps stopping & starting sometimes only for a few seconds at a time going on off on off. I have cleaned it and got rid of the ice that was there and left it switched off for a few hours, but when I switched it back on it was still happening. I then cleaned the back of the freezer and noticed that there is some water in a plastic bit, on top of the motor, and that there is some white stuff a bit like melted polystyrene coming out of the bottom of the freezer just above where this plastic bit with water is. The motor also feels quite hot. What should I do to try and stop the fan going on and off. Cx
