Whirlpool Gold AccuBake - Auto Clean does not work

Question

Living with 10-yr old appliance for four months. Set Auto Clean for first time last night. Heating element and fan came on, then a soft click-click, click-click for about 40 seconds. Process shut down and the following error code displayed: E1 F5. Tried several times including this morning when the oven was cold. No luck. Seems like latch is not locking. How much to repair? Help! Thanks ever so much. Kathleen (we know computers but are doomed when it comes to appliances or electricity :-)
